Vegas Hotels

Hello all,

We are going to Vega in October and trying to decide where to stay.  I really don't want to pay a ton for a hotel b/c we will not spend much time in the room.  I've been getting frustrated trying to choose b/c it seems like there are hidden resort fees everywhere.

Also, are some of the cheaper/older hotels safe?

We are attending a wedding at Caeser's and have family staying at the Hard Rock.  We don't have any other solid plans.  We'd like to visit the old part of town.

My favorite place to stay in Vegas is the Flamingo. It's not fancy or trendy, but it's clean, safe and right in the middle of the strip. It almost directly across from Caesars too. You'd have to take a cab to the Hard Rock, which is fancy & trendy and much more $$$$. I'm like you. A hotel is someplace to sleep, shower and change clothes. You can still gamble, check out and eat at all the other hotels without staying there.
