Here's an article about Kate Hudson claiming that being faithful to someone is not natural but can be done. Oh, and if her husband cheats on her she says that's fine if that's what he needs to do so long as he does not get caught. Uhhh, okay


 


Kate Hudson says monogamy is tricky business – but she's still faithful to her hubby.

The Almost Famous Oscar nominee, hot on the promotional trail for her new thriller, The Skeleton Key, opines that marital fidelity isn't practical – though some folks can pull it off.

"I don't believe (monogamy) is realistic," Hudson, 26, tells TV's Access Hollywood. "But, I believe that we, as people, have the power to make it happen."

Hudson – who married Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson on Dec. 31, 2000, and welcomed their son, Ryder, Jan. 7, 2004 – was quick to add: "I will not disrespect my husband and stray."

Asked if she believes Robinson has remained true to her, Hudson answered: "If you focus your attention on that, then you are always wondering if your husband or men are out there cheating on you. ... If for some reason, that's what he has to go do, I just don't want to know. As long as things are good in our house, just please, don't get caught."

Just last September, while shooting Skeleton Key in New Orleans, Hudson told PEOPLE about the state of her marriage in the wake of the arrival of Ryder: "We're sharing something so gigantic now. I think it's the best we've ever felt being together."

a lot of people in the world have similar sentiments- it makes me worried.  Is it more natural to believe in monogamy or not?  I don't want my husband straying, and even if its more "natural" to get your kicks whenever you feel like it, I want to believe that some people still believe in staying with one person.  If divorce statistics are already 50%- I'm scared NO ONE in my generation is going to stay married to the same person.

I recently saw an interview with her mom and kurt russell and her comments dont surprise me.  Goldie was basically saying the same thing.  She also said that its unnatural (for a men especially) to be monogamous and that women are fooling themselves if they believe otherwise.  I see she has taught Kate to think this way also.
