Okay, I just got this, but I am in love!

 

It smells a little like candy-canes, which I kinda like.

 

It is nice and sheer with a little sheen, but not shiny or glittery. Also, it isn't tacky at all. And, it doesn't smudge much. I bought the 'amused' and it is the perfect bubble-gum pink. I'm glad it is a stain. I couldn't pull off the color if it weren't. I also want the red (lust) and the rose (enchanted).

I love Tarte! I wear their cheek stains. I had the opportunity to meet the founder Maureen a couple years ago. So down to earth, and was wearing some really fly payless heels.

Oh, I was hoping you'd review this when I saw it in the shopping thread! I wear the cheek stains and really like the results. I tried Enchanted in the lip stains last time I was in Sephora, but at $24 bucks a pop, I was wondering how well the stains held up.

GD- how long does the stain last on average? Like a gloss where the color is pretty much gone after you drink something or does some of the color stick around?

It is better than gloss, but I don't know that you'll be able to apply in the morning, once after lunch and call it a work day. I do love that it isn't sticky like a gloss. Nothing worse than getting your long hair stuck to your lips (OK, there are probably 1000 worse things, but is sure is annoying!)
