I am currently trying to save money (shopping ban until August) so I'm hoping to keep mine to $500. I really want to try to get "good" peices that I will wear alot. Also I want to incorperate more things that I already own but don't really wear into my fall/winter wardrobe.
To get everything I'd want...I'd really need like $1000, but that's not going to happen since I have CC debt to pay off and I need a new computer badly (so you can guess where that $1000 is going. ). I'm going to limit it to $500 as well...mostly for things that can be worn to work as well as being worn out casually. I think this will defintely be a season for finding good quality basics that I'll wear for a good 5-10 years. I'm also planning to get a true investment purse (since I didn't get it for my 20th) for my 21st birthday next June, so I need to start saving up for that!
Hmmm....I'd like to get a new leather trench coat, I don't know WHY, it really doesn't get COLD-COLD here in Austin, but it would be nice. And also maybe a NICER handbag, maybe a designer one! LOL That's pretty much it, so I'd say about $200.00, not too shabby.

I'm still trying to figure that out. Probably between 800-1,000. def. no more than that.
I wish it could be less, but I have lost about 35 pounds since last fall and none of my clothes fit me anymore. (yeah I know, boo hoo...). I am working on a list of pieces I want that will help to rebuild my wardrobe, since I am more or less at a weight I would like to stay at now. And I figure most of the fall pieces will last through winter as well...
I've spent about $500 so far, but I've bought all of my big purchases (a coat, 2 blazers, boots, and shoes). I'll probably be spending about another $500 before I'm done.
my budget is very small since My bf and I are moving, I estimated $185 but today I had a trouser budget of $80 and bought three pairs of really awsome wide leg trousers for $30 at oldnavy. I really want to buy some new bedroom stuff so I think I will be thrifting and ebaying the rest.
I think I can get a majority of it with $500-&750 - it freaks me out to think of it this way - I am so used to buying a piece here & there that to add it all up is enlightening - and not in a positive way either!!

I would throw out a number but I know I wouldn't be able to stick to it. *sigh* I try to plan budgets monthly and that doesn't even work, I doubt I could plan for all of fall...
i've already bought some items, but maybe 100-200 more? i try not to think of the numbers! all i still really want are some thin-ribbed sweaters and a pair of brown boots. (inexpensive because i don't wear brown a lot)
numbers make me sad. i already know that i'll spend at least $1G on stuff especially b/c i want a new coat and a leather bag. writing it down makes it sound so extreme, but i'm very careful with my shopping, and i haven't spent a lot of money this year on summer stuff (in fact about 1/2 the stuff i bought this summer was for fall/winter). plus fall lasts for so long around here that i don't really feel bad about spending a lot of money on fall clothes, since in general i wear them much longer. but i'm going to stop trying to justify my ridiculous spending now.
oh geez, I have no idea. I try to split it up monthly, but I spend about $400 a month on clothes no matter what I do. i usually buy one bigger thing and then a few cheaper things. But I'm going to try to keep it around $1000, spread out from now til october or november. It depends on a lot of things- IF i find the perfect coat, IF I find the perfect bag, etc. I will not settle for less than perfect since I don't need anything really- the only things I keep thinking I "need" are work shoes. Another pair of jeans, some trousers, a pencil skirt, and some cute sweaters. I like to scout sales and eBay to make it seem less extreme and I usually stick to my set list until the end of the season, when I go a little more crazy and stock up on things that are good wardrobe additions at a great price. For example, I got these for $50 from $200 and I think they'll work nicely into fall- while I liked them before, I wouldn't have spent $200 on them:
so far I'm looking at my spreadsheet, I keep an Excel file on all the purchases I want and need, and it's getting pretty hefty even on the neccessities. With the facts that I dropped several dress sizes and also went from a completely casual to strictly biz work environment, I have a big need for clothes.
I am currently budgeting $1500-$2000 for clothes, and that's only allowing 1 pair of boots. The reason why it's so high at the moment is to account for two new suits. Without the suits , it's more like $800-1100. I also need a new winter coat. Geez thank goodness on I'm the ban already!
i am thinking that mine is going to be somewhere around $800-1200 this fall. there are a couple of classic pieces that i need to replace (classic white button down, black pencil skirt, etc.) that will be costly... and i need a new pair of knee boots...
uhhh, my fall clothing budget is next to nothing. between cc debt and redecorating my apartment, i'm not going to have any cash left over for clothes! harumph!

I have planned a budget of $500. It will be tough since I must buy a new very warm coat. My ivory down Old Navy coat has gotten dirty on the sleeves (and won't wash out) and is just too disgusting to wear to town. Will keep still to wear at home when I have to do dirty work like cleaning my car. This season I have planned on keeping a list of what I would like to purchase and write down what I buy and how much it is to make sure I keep on track. I know if I don't keep track, I will go way over. But if I get a new job, I may have to double that budget to buy better work clothes.
