If it makes you feel better:

1. I have yet to find someone who has this phone who doesn't RAVE about it

2. I'm jealous. I want one too.

3. It's incredibly packed with useful features, and stylish, too, and it's Motorola, so chances are it works well as a plain phone.

4. Many, _many_ people I asked about this phone who _don't_ have one have poo-pooed it. You wouldn't believe the bias there is out there with people who haven't even touched it!

So if the person who said it was a bad phone doesn't have one, don't listen. Enjoy your new phone and know that this gadget-geek-girl is envious.

If he does own one...And I don't mean has tried it for a day, or pushed buttons on a demo...and after a month hates it, well, then maybe there's an issue.

My friends father has had it for a couple months already and is about to throw the razr in the trash. He said it is a cool looking phone, however, because it is soooo thin, the earpiece is horribly uncomfortable and you can't hear anyone on the other end of the line. I think it has to do with the tiny speakers they have to use to keep the phone so thin. Anyway, I can not recommend it, because he says he can not have a conversation on that phone to save his life. He just cant hear the person he is talking to.
