I love Anthro just like most people, and like most people I find their prices prohibitively expensive. I'm also not great at sewing (yet) so my alteration skills are rather limited. But! I thought I'd take a stab at a few things I have lying around, that aren't getting much wear in their rather basic state. I've been perusing Anthro's site for inspiration for placement of embelishments and buttons and ruffles and looking through some anthro-hacks I've come across online, and I've got a couple items in the works ...
Anyone for an Anthro-Hack-off? Doesn't have to be anything official or a knock-off of a specific item, I'm just looking for a little inspiration and figured maybe someone else would be, too! Game?

position the scarf to swoop along the neckline in the back, then tack down the scarf with a couple of stitches at the shoulder seams. tie in the front.
for an even more inexpensive version, you could purchase striped fabric, or use any long scarf.
