Anyone use John Frieda Clear Glaze?

Just bought the John Frieda Clear Glaze.  Does anyone use this?  The bottle says to use it 3 days a week, but that seems a little excessive to me.  I just want to give my hair a little boost between dye jobs.

I tried it and it made my hair seem greasy and weighed down. I do have fine hair though. I think 1-2 times a week would be enough.
