I want to purchase a new alarm clock.  The one I have was supposed to be used temporarily (I won it at a conference, and it has Enterprise Rent-a-Car logo on it!  Ugh! 

I am having a terrible time finding something I remotely like.

Looking for (approximates):
  • Smaller footprint (mine's about 6in wide & 8in long, and very bulky)
  • Easily accessible snooze button that produces a satisfying click when smacked at 6:30am
  • No obnoxious, super loud buzzer
  • Something that complements modern design
  • No taller than 5 inches or so

As for features, I just want something basic.  It doesn't have to fry up eggs for me or anything.

ETA: I did some serious searching last night, and I found one that I love.  It is priced at a ridiculous $119, but it's so awesome!  My birthday is coming up...

I've given up on regular alarm clocks, and I use a small travel alarm clock. It's the little timex one that is a little bigger than a deck of cards. Comes in black or white and is under $10 at Target or Meijer. It's loud enough to wake me up, but not so loud that it scares me.
