Has anyone ever tried either one of these, and if so, how are they? I personally am tired of shaving, and a day or so later, I have that ICKY, awful hair stubble, my man HATES IT, and so do I. LOL I've never gone the waxing route, but here it's quite painful. If yall could please give me your thoughts/opinions, I'd appreciate it.

I haven't tried it, but I doubt that it works well.  I have tried regular Nair and it doesn't work well.  It makes my hair all curly and brittle, but doesn't remove it.  It is pretty gross.

When it comes to hair removal, I find that anything that seems too good to be true is usually just that:  too good to be true.  I feel your pain about shaving only to have stubble the next day.  I have tried EVERYTHING.  I think I am just going to save up money and get it lasered.

Nair made me break out in a rash and it didn't even get rid of the hair and it smelt horrible. I wish it worked but I doubt it. I guess I'm too scared to try!

i have used the veet on my upper lip.  when i get a bikini wax, it hurts LESS than my lip and the veet, surprisingly, works really well on my upper lip.  gross, i know.  i tried it on my bikini area and it works ok, it's just messy, it runs down my leg, etc...it worked ok, but not great.  i have never tried it on my legs though.  i don't know if that will help, but as a side note, one of my nurse friends does kinda what i do, she works a second job like one or two days a week, as a laser hair removal technician.  she swears by it and is going to do it to me, i'm so excited.  also, ANOTHER side note, i just realized that i use WAY too many hair removal techniques.

eyebrows: threading

underarm/legs: shave

bikini: wax

upper lip: depilatory

guys have it sooo easy!!!

WOW - thanks for the responses, so I guess Iwon't be trying either one of them! LOL Right now I use the Nair, and it does STINK, and a day or so later - the lovely stubble. I wonder how much would laser run me, because I'm not sure my health ins. company would pay for it......LOL

I use the veet on special occasions, and I really like it. The only problem I've had is that I left it on my underarms a little too long and really burned them - ouch! I have pretty fine hair, though, and sometimes I have to go over a spot twice, so I don't know how well it would work on thick hair.

I used that Veet bladeless thing about a year ago on my legs and while it was effective, it messed up my skin. After I "shaved" all the cream stuff off, my legs stung so bad for like fifteen minutes, and it left my skin with little red bumps for a bit. But besides that, it seemed to work.

Hope that helps...
