if anyone knows! receipe I'm trying to do call for: Maple Sugar

the closest thing I found to that label is: Maple Cooking Syrup


is that it?!

I was at Henry's Market and I looked everywhere, that's the closest thing I could find

Nope maple sugar is an actual product. I brought some home from trip to Montreal a few years ago. It's made by boiling down maple syrup to it's crystal form. Not sure where to buy it in the states. Maybe Whole Foods?

I did a quick search and found this guide for substituting brown sugar and maple syrup

Do you want it in a powder form or in crystal pieces? I have bought these maple sugar granules from Frontier before and I am pretty sure that this is what you want depending on what you're doing with them...

fairywings- it's for baking and it dosen't say in which form it should be. but it says i can use granulated sweetner if I dont have maple sugar....
off to see what sweetner I can use!
