Check out http://www.oceanic-air.com if you haven't seen it yet. There are a bunch of hidden things on this website, including a way to see a season 2 trailer! I'll give you a hint for the trailer puzzle... the numbers are everywhere.
It's not a very long trailer, but it's still interesting. Here's how to see it:
On the main page, click "track flight" in the top menu bar. Then use "option 1" and type in "815" and hit Track. You'll go to a page that has a list of flights. In the "Flight#" column, click on "815". It won't show you an arrow/pointer when you put your cursor over it, but it will take you to another page, which displays the plane's seating chart.
At the bottom of the seating chart you'll see the rows numbered 1-42. Click the numbers (not the blue squares, the actual numbers) in order: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42. Then wait a few seconds.
The seating chart will disappear and you'll get a black rectangle, that's the trailer loading. Unless you're on a slow machine or behind a firewall that blocks it, you should be able to see the trailer.
There is other stuff you can do with the chart, but I don't know them all. I know if you click the right combo of squares, it will show you where people sat and will play clips about the characters.
A friend sent me the link to the page. I found a few of the surprises myself (page of the script, some of the people on the seating chart) but I read how to get the trailer from a friend's LiveJournal. I googled for some of the others.
If you play w/ the seating chart and find Locke's seat, turn your speakers off before you click it if you are at work.
Notice how if you 'track' flight 815, it says it's status is 'alert' and that it *landed* at LAX, a few minutes late. I wonder if I'm reading that right. If 815 landed, who are the ppl on the island? And what is the 'tragedy' the pres. is talking about on the front page? Wouldn't he just have said 'crash'? (And since when does one plane crash make an airline cancel all of its flights?)
I really think there is something of an alternate reality. Has anyone ever seen or read Steven King's "The Langoliers"? It really is very reminiscent of that to me.

I can't wait for season 2!!
Ah!! I see what you're talking about. It says it was scheduled to land at 3:16, but landed at 3:24 instead. I love this show!!!
Hey, Bastet...I found Locke's seat and turned the volume off b/c the bf is napping. Does anything actually happen visually or are you supposed to hear something?

To get the visual and sound to play, click on the number sequence on the seating chart, using the numbers, but this time instead of clicking on the numbers at the bottom of the chart, click on the blue squares in the bottom row (row A). Use 4, 8, 15,16,23,42 again and then some of the squares should turn green. One of them is Locke's seat. Once it turns green, click on it, and it should show you a few little graphics and a sound. The only reason I mentioned it is because it made me wonder whether or not Locke is as good of a guy as I thought he was. :P
You might have to reload the page and try it twice. The first time I did it the seats that showed up were Jack, Rose, Kate, Charlie, and Shannon. The second time, I got Locke's. I think there's an order or a certain way to do it, but I can't figure it out.
Thanks, Bastet. I figured it out. Did you see on the homepage of that site that there are notes encoded into it (presumably the ones that the survivors wrote to put in the bottle)? Crazy.
And as for the seating chart, I think if you click on any of the seats in rows numbered 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 or 42 that one of the character's seats will light up. And what's with when you click on Jack the text at the bottom corner (Oceanic 815) changes to Oceanic 777? Weird. You can also get to message boards through www.oceanicflight815.com
