Fragrances that should be banned
Permalink Closed

This is very unAmerican of me, but I am in the mood to stir things up a bit.  If you had your way and could get any three fragrances banned from public places, which ones would you choose?

1. Design by Paul Sebastian
2. Eternity by Calvin Klein
3. Joop! Joop! for men

If I can taste your perfume, I think something may be amiss.

I would say Opium, Curve, and anything with patchouli-I hate, hate, hate patchouli!

Oooh, this is tough.

1. Everything Victoria's Secret manufactures.

2. Flowerbomb -- which I don't mind but which is just pungent as heck

3. Juicy Couture

Any fragrance can be awful if the person pours it on before they leave home. Spritz, people! Spritz!

That being said, I can't stand these even in small doses:

1) Axe (why do teenage boys bathe in this????? My boss's son reeked of it all summer.)

2)Second on the Juicy Couture. It gives me the worse headache.

3)Anything with that artificial vanilla scent. It just smells like a bad air freshener.

Haha, this is EXACTLY the first thing I thought of when I saw this post!

Also this 60-ish year old lady that's good friends with my mom through work wears some kind of fragrance that is so heavy and "old lady" smelling that it makes me want to vomit!  My mom said people in their department complain about it giving them headaches.  I guess she uses like all the products in the line all at once so it's total overkill.  Bath wash, oil and perfume.  TOO MUCH!

If she has been in my mom's car I can smell that she's been there like a week or 2 later.  It's gross.
