Hair Straightener

I need recommendations....

Here's some background....I have had the standard CHI for 3 years now, but it's starting to act up and doesn't always turn on. When I got my haircut about 3 weeks ago, my stylist used the "Croc" and my hair looked great!!! My hair is a little course and very thick.

So I've been googling reviews of the "Croc" and it seems to get great reviews. Does anyone have this straightener and if so, can you give me a review?

Any other suggestions?

TIA!!!

I have the GHD and I love, love, love it! I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

The croc is the new "trendy" straightener in the hairstyling world.  My stylist switched from CHI to the croc as well, but she told me that she wouldn't recommend it for non-stylists as it gets extremely hot and it can be hard to get the "flip up" at the bottom of the hair to not be a bend.  Just one opinion.

I've been using a solia for more than four years and I'm still happy with it. I've got medium texture hair (but a lot of it).

I have a HairArt that I got from beauty.com about two years ago. I really like it. It has a temperature dial, which I like. My old CHI didn't have that feature.

I also have the GHD and have been pretty happy with it. By far the best feature IMO is that it adjusts automatically to various voltages, so you can use it anywhere in the world!
