I'm joining Weight Watchers tonight, and it seems like they have several different program options. Can anyone share their experiences with a specifice program (points, flex, and I think there is a third).

TIA

good for you for starting WW.  i've had good luck with it.  definitely do the one with the points.  when i was on it they had either the points program or the "filling foods" (?) program (I think).  I liked the points method much better b/c you can eat whatever you want as long as you count the points.  It just was simpler and made more sense to me (and is probably easier to follow).  i've recommended ww to a lot of people, and I always suggest the points system b/c it worked for me.  good luck!

I lost the wait from my first baby on weight watcher...the point method...it is really effective, you just eat what you want but control the portions by the points...
I am actually back on weightwatchers to lose the rest of the weight from my second, Alex and I have 10 more pounds to go!
Congrats on taking the step and joining.

After my first metting, it appears that they combined the 2 methods into this new "momentum" plan. As far as I can see, it is the same as the points plan I did before.

gd- just so you know (im sure you know already) you can join online and never attend a meeting. That's what I did and it was cheap and it still worked for me! I couldn't picture myself having to take time out of my schedule to go to meetings. But hey, that's just me!

oh also, the ww forums are great.  i really like the "food finds," "recipe review" and "momentum" sections and lurk there just about every day to get ideas.

I did WW a while ago, and had a backslide when I stopped going to meetings. So, I think I am going to attend for a bit, then switch to online. I don't like taking the time out of my schedule, but if that is what it takes for awhile I guess it is worth it... I initially signed up for 8 weeks. I'm glad to hear that someone likes the online version!

I am going to restart on Monday. I haven't been too serious but I need to be. I have 25 pounds I need to lose and I did it before on WW and there is no reason I couldn't do it again. I'm more than happy to exchange emails or PMs with you (or anyone else) to stay on track. I'm going to do it on my own again this time. I tried the meetings but didn't really get anything out of them.
