I quit! *An Update*

Just thought I would give you girls an update on the situation.  I haven't found  a job yet, but I have a few interveiws set up and I may also be able to do some marketing temp work.  I'm feeling much, much better than I was.  This is my last week at this awful place and then I'm finally free from the demons!!! 


I have to thank you ladies.  Part of the reason I was able to quit (along with the support of my 'real life' friends and family), was because of the encouragement of my other 'friends' (you guys!!).  So, thank you for that.  And for reminding me that I'm not a loser just b/c my boss is crazy.


*On a side note: It's a good thing I quit b/c I heard that my boss was going to try to fire me either that day or soon.  And I also found out that my old boss (the old store manager, who was transferred to another store and I took her place in my store), was actually trash talking me to our boss and trying to get me fired!!! This was the woman who pushed so hard to get me promoted; then she turns around like a backstabbing beyatch and all but gets me fired.  I'll tell you, there are some messed up people out there!!!

I'm glad you checked back in.  I was getting worried since you haven't posted lately.  The temp work sounds like an excellent idea and alot of the times temps become permanent hires! Its funny the way life works itself out.  You quit just in time and now neither manager was able to get the pleasure of firing you because you beat them to it! I have a good feeling about where you are headed. Keep your head up!

Hey, you live in Philly, PA don't you?  If so, check out the Anthro website, they had quite a few job postings for their home office and they sounded fun and may be right up your alley.
