I'm really irritated and just wanted to take a minute to rant about jcrew and their shipping rates.  Seriously, WTF?  It's ridiculous.  I was going to order two shirts on sale for $19.99 each, for a total of $39.98.  They wanted $8.80 for shipping.  That's more than 20% of the cost of the merch.  I also hate that they rarely offer shipping codes valid on orders less than $125. 

I really like their clothes but I think I'm done ordering online.

That is exactly what keeps me from ordering on line with them. That and the fact that their on line prices are different from the in store prices. I bought a skirt this weekend for $20 and when I went to get the photo to post in the shopping thread, the site had the same skirt listed at $59.99! That's just ridiculous.

Tell me about it! I don't know why they can't get with the program and charge a flat rate like Gap does. Speaking of high shipping rates, Anthro's are pretty high too.

I only order from J Crew if they have a free shipping code or some percentage off code that comes close to paying for shipping. I always buy my stuff from J Crew online though, because the stores carry hardly any XL.

I hate rummaging through the sale racks so I enjoy doing J Crew online shopping but I agree with above that their shipping fees are redic! Often times I'm ready do purchase but don't want to spend $20 on shipping. I always end up not buying because of that. I guess they'd rather lose a sale than charge a normal fee.
