DH and I wanted to register at 2 places for our baby showers, Babies R Us and Target. Everything was fine with the whole process but then I realized I forgot to ask the people at Target for the registry cards so I called to ask if I could come in and get them. The girl was like "oh, there are stickers in the book we gave you when you came to register". Well I was kind of confused because I was pretty sure the stickers she was talking about were just flags to put on pages of the catalog to mark things you liked. Sure enough when I got home that's what they were. Just stickers with a target symbol on them.
So we went in to ask for the actual registry cards and they were like "yeah, we are cutting back so we don't make those anymore, you should just write it on your invitation". First of all I am not going to scribble "registered at Target" on the adoreable invitations I handmade. Second, they were already done so I couldn't even include it in the text. Third, you are telling me that I am choosing to send about 150 people to your store to buy your products and you can't give me a couple sheets of card stock that basically advertise your store?????!!!!!
NOT HAPPY. I dind't have time to make my own cards because my mom and aunt are sending out the invites today so we ended up writing "and Target" next to where it says registered at Babies R Us on the nice cards they gave us. Tacky but Target gave us no other option. How cheap is that?
