Oscar or Felix??

Are you a neat freak or a slob? My sister and I were discussing this earlier tonight. I wish I was a neat freak but alas, disarray does not alarm me (to put it mildly). I am much better than when I was younger, but I wish I hadn't missed out on the clean gene.

PS Oscar was the slob!!

Hee hee. I doubted myself for a minute, so I looked on the website, and yes, indeed, Oscar was the slob.

I wouldn't call myself a slob, my husband might tho.  Cleaning is just never a priority for me.  I hate it and cleaning products make me itch.

I was a Felix until I moved in with my SO...then I let it go since he was a slob, so I turned into one too.

my thoughts exactly.  i can't think when my office/room is cluttered, so even when i'm on deadline or have to leave the house asap, if it's cluttered, i can't fight the urge to not pick up and put away.

btw, what show were oscar and felix on?  the odd couple? because when i first read the title i thought of oscar the grouch and felix the cat.  so i got confused.

Yep, The Odd Couple is a Neil Simon play that was made into a movie with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau and then they made a tv show with Tony Randall and Jack Klugman.

Oscar during the week and Felix on the weekends.

I am just too tired at night to clean up, but am a cleaning madwoman on Saturday mornings. Clutter annoys me to no end.

more Oscar I think.  I am very strict about hygiene, like my toothbrush, my clothes, towels, food prep area...but I don't care so much about clutter and things left out undone, like my dining room table which was recently converted into my scrapbooking table and is now covered with photos and tools, albums and colored paper.  We rarely use the dining table anyway since we eat at the kitchen table, so why do I need my dining room to look like a page in a magazine?
