So Renee Zellweger got rid of the atrocious, unflattering, unnatural monotone black hair and has replaced it with atrocious, unflattering, unnatural monotone platinum hair. I don't even want to think about the processing that required. Now, I love blond hair when it's beautiful--Uma Thurman, Naomi Watts, Gwyneth Paltrow all have gorgeous golden hair and it looks radiant. But why does everyone have to have it, even when it's not particularly flattering? And why do so many people just get one flat shade, like this color on Renee or like Lohan's hair in the pic somebody else posted? Mind you, it's far from just Hollywood--I see so many women on the subway every day with hideous fake blond hair and I just want to beg them to stop bleaching. Either it makes you look sallow or it takes on that flat, ugly mustard yellow tone--stop! Jennifer Garner has gorgeous healthy medium brown hair with no highlights and she looks stunning all the time. I wish more people would pay attention to her!
Although, as a PS, I do have to applaud Renee for consistently eschewing the perma-orange Paris Hilton skin--that is my other pet peeve.

Oh no - I think her skin color is beautiful. I love, love, love pale skin like that. Plus, she'll probably look that good in 20 years, which is more than others her age can say.
And, hopefully, the hair color will come out all right in the end. Sometimes it takes a few colorings to get the right color after such a dramatic change from dark to blonde.
I think she looks great. I'm a big Renee fan and as a fellow fair skinned gal I love to see stars like Renee, Naomi and Nicole that do not succmb to the tanorexic wave that is wreaking havoc on Hollywood.

I don't like her hair color in that picture, but I do have to say what I love about her is that she is pale and doesn't care. I too have very pale skin and I like to think that it's what makes me stand apart from a lot of others who are tan I think his skin is gorgeous.
yeah I def. think her skin looks great, and I agree with you Farrah about the few pale girls in Hollywood who don't tan--love it. I do think Nicole Kidman looked prettier with that strawberry blond hair she had when she first came out, though--since the pale blond color she wears now is virtually the same shade as her skin I think it makes her look too washed out. The red tone used to bring out the pink in her skin and make her blue eyes really pop. Then again, I just think red hair is magnificent, so I am biased.

I think she looks awesome too. I admire her for keeping her pale skin. I have pale skin except when I use Neutrogena tanner. I wish I had as much confidence to just be pale and forget the tanner--it is such a pain to apply. I also like her looks better as a blond because I think it goes with her skintone better. The dark hair just made her look washed out.
I love her pale skin, but b/c she has pinkish-red undertones, this hair color does absolutely nothing to flatter her. She needs a richer base w/subtle highlights to create a softer look.
