Dior Make up

My mother-in-law has signed mr, my sister-in-law and herself up for a Dior beauty event at the local mall.

I never participate in these things for 3 very good reasons.

1. I don't feel they are overly sanitary, especially on event days when they have a booked schedule

2. Make up artist love me in 80's style eye make up, I can't explain it.

3. I always feel like I should buy something, and am not always impressed enough to bother.

I have tons of makeup already, and buy the good stuff, so a $30 mascara isn't the scary part. Can I just go and watch, or is that rude. It's not like I'm going to catch the cooties or that being seen in aqua eyeshadow will kill me (unless I die of embarassment).

Should I just suck it up and go and have a good time?

Someone, talk me into it.

PS-if you have a particular Dior product to recommend, I could always request she try it on me.

I would suck it up and do my best to enjoy it, but I'm a chickensh**t, so there you go.

A lot of girls on here like DiorShow and MaximEyes mascara. My mom is a huge Dior fan and she loves their blush (but then I haven't introduced her to NARS Orgasm).

I know it's a makeup consulation, but I'm actually a huge fan of Dior skincare. I'd use the toners and lotions myself if I wasn't trying to get rid of acne scars (need a glycolic toner for that...).

I love dior show. Most of the counter workers try to be as sanitary as possible and use q-tips and stuff. Some counters have protectors over certain products so people don't touch them if it would spread germs. Also the whole point of a makeover is to try new stuff so when you go tell them what you normally like and what you absolutely hate. If you make it a point you hate bright colors they won't put it on you because they are trying to sell stuff and not turn you off.
