Feeling a little nostalgic here... I remember seeing the recipes/advertisements in my mom's copies of Better Homes & Gardens and Family Circle when I was young.  Like this:

Between living in a larger city that is preoccupied with being gourmet and having a husband who prefers whole food eating (plus has Celiac), I don't get to make or eat these types of processed-food-based dishes anymore.

What are some of your favorite nobake/easybake, food-brand-centered recipes (sweet and savory) from when you were a kid or now?

My ultimate fave is my mom's version of Pistachio Pineapple Mallow Dessert
Kraft's version of the recipe  - - My mom's includes the pistachio pudding, cool whip, crushed pineapple, and maraschino cherries (no marshmallows and nuts).

Hers looks a lot like Watergate Salad, but it has different ingredients.

So hungry now!

Rice Krispie Treats. I haven't had a marshmallow in like 20 years.

I just made them yesterday for the first time since I became an adult!  I made them with my husband's gluten-free brown rice crisp cereal, and they were awesome!  We ate the whole tray.

I still make Rice Kristy treats. Love them.

My aunt used to make a taffy apple salad with Cool Whip and nuts, pineapples, apples and I don't know what else, but it was my absolute favorite thing in the world. She always made it for my birthday each summer.
