Hey girls--I'm looking for some fabric to stretch over cavas to hang in my baby's nursery. I've picked out one Marimekko print, the only one that matches my bedding. Here are the colors in the bedding:
I'd like something abstract, kind of Marimekko-ish (b/c the other one is Marimekko), in maybe a yellow or that pinkish color. I'm having the most difficult time. Does anyone have any ideas or know where to look. Oh, I also tried hableconstruction as well. Thanks!
i found something for you in the new Metropolitan Home mag last night and i meant to bring it to work but i must have forgot. i wanted to post the website.
i thought it might work for you--
i will post it tomorrow from work.

Great, thanks, Mikacat! I seriously need all the help I can get. I didn't realize the bedding I got would be so difficult to match. I think I am going to have a hard time matching the dots, but I want to do it anyway so I may just end up having to buy more packages.
Oh--wanted to tell you that I pulled everything out last night and looked at the bedding closely and I love it! It seems to be good quality and is really cute. The sheet is not super soft though, but I'm sure it will soften after a few washes. It's just really nice, thick cotton, almost slightly canvasy. I'll take to picture of it tonight or tomorrow and try to post it here.
Have you made a decision yet on your bedding or are you still debating?
alb--i saw these warhol prints in the Moma catalogue last night.

and the one I wanted to post for you- i can't find online--It was in the months Metropolitan Home April 2005 on page 40.
It is a do it by the numbers. Nostalgic for those 50s paint by number sets? they have been reinvented by British company call Art by Numbers which offers such sophisticatd graphics as Rose red. in two side 24 inches square or 6 inches square. (might be worth checking out)
artbynumbers.co.uk
but nothing was really on the site yet.
