I bought this video and did it once. I have a HUGE commitment problem when it comes to working out. I am curious who has stuck with this and what kind of results you are having...maybe if I hear the real life success stories, I'll do it.
By the time I come home from work and play with baby Kate, it is bedtime. The first day I did at 9pm and I couldn't fall asleep until about 3am....then Kate was up at 4.
I can't seem to find the right place to fit a work out into my day.
I also have huge commitment problems when it comes to exercise, so I feel ya. I'm not as busy as you are, but my schedule varies from day to day and things come up, so sometimes it ends up that I don't workout as much as I'd like.
The nice thing about the Shred workouts is that they're only 20 minutes (30 w/warmup/cooldown I think), so if you can cut something else that takes 20 minutes out and fit this in, you're golden. Maybe do more dinners in the crock pot so you don't have to start it when you get home? Or do lots of dinner prep on the weekends so everything is good to go for the week?
If none of that is possible, maybe just doing a (longer?) workout on Saturday and Sunday will have to suffice? I know it's not ideal, but Kate won't be this young forever, so once she's more independent you'll be able to get the interaction with her you want after work without having that be all you're able to do, y'know?

I have to do mine when Rowy goes down for his morning nap 830 or 9. If I dont do it than it will never get done. I just started mine but my goal is to do it mon-fri unless I have a morning appoit
Well today I think is my 12th or 13th day doing it. I've done level 2 maybe 2 or 3 times, and yes I've noticed a difference on my body. I know some girls in here took measurements, I'm an idiot and didn't. But I notice a big difference on how my clothes fit me and my stomach is smaller! I've had 2 kids and this makes me real happy! I'm really wanting to see results on my arms though.... and I know others in here have also seen results already....
As in time....I try and squeeze it in when I can too. It might be early morning, afternoon or late night. But then again, my youngest is 6 and I can just tell him to watch t.v. If I happen to do it at night, I ask/tell husband to handle kids things at night so I can workout. It's only 30 minutes long like Elle said. And sometimes if I'm in a hurry, I dont do the last stage of cooling down!
Oh! I also have her dvd facing me at all times in the living room. She's always staring at me! That helps me not to forget. My goal is to at least workout 4 times a week

Now this motivates me. If you notice results in less than two weeks, I might make time to do this.
My DH keeps saying that he's proud of me for wanting to work out and that he'll help out with Kate for me....then I get home from work and he works out while Kate and I make dinner...then he conveniently falls asleep on the couch!!!

Me, too! We got an elliptical and I like that, but I need something to break it up. Not only do I have commitment issues with working out, I also have a short attention span and get bored doing the same thing all the time. I might have to look into this.

Make a deal with him and change it up. Have him wait and watch Kate for you first and when your done working out and/or showering...it's his turn to work out. Tell him to do you that favor at least 3 to 4 times out of the week. Does he not make dinner? if not, then maybe you'll eat dinner a little later those days out of the week?
I don't know where the rest of the Shredder's are, but I know that I'm not the only one thats seeing results. I believe Elle has already too....
I'm definitely seeing results! I can see my muscles developing in my abs and arms, and my butt and thighs are significantly less jiggly than they were before. My husband is even starting to comment on being able to see results. I'm also feeling like my results are coming through in real life - I carried a big bag of dog food around the store and out to my car with no problem at all yesterday, because getting a cart just felt lazy. I don't get winded when I do yardwork anymore. I carried two extra heavy books in my bag around at school yesterday and hardly noticed. We have a walk that we do in our neighborhood that includes 2 really steep hills, and I just did the whole thing without stopping - talking the whole way - for the first time this weekend.
It's worth it! It blows all previous workouts out of the water in terms of time spent v. results seen.
