(i've been meaning to post about this for awhile now, just haven't had the time) i wanted to tell you all about my new favorite laundry detergent: charlie's soap! i love it because it's one of the few detergents that rinse clean and won't give me and my daughters the itchies. one little bag lasts us for months and it only takes 1 TBSP per load! i love the fact that my clothes smell CLEAN now, not full of fragrances. in fact, i ran out once and had to use tide, and i couldn't believe the difference! i ran back to the store that night to buy some more charlie's! if you or anyone you know has allergies/athsma/sensitivity to fragrances or soaps, i recommend this product! (and it's eco-friendly!!) they also have other products as well, which i haven't tried, but fully intend to!
Laundry Powder Our 3 lbs. bag of laundry powder can do up to 80 full wash loads. Thats just pennies per load! Needs only 1 TABLESPOON per large washload - That's all! This is not an additive. All of the features of Charlie's Soap Laundry Liquid but more concentrated! Hypoallergenic - leaves no residue - perfect for babies and those who have sensitive skin Dissolves completely / biodegradable More convenient and portable than a liquid Front-loader / HE compatible.
Our Laundry Powder is a revolutionary approach to laundry care. It does not cover up stains and odors with scents and brighteners - it really cleans. It is made with a unique blend of biodegradable coconut-based detergents and high-grade, completely soluble, Green River washing soda.

hahaha the list on the website cracks me up when it says that it cleans "poop" - I know that's important for young mothers but still, it's not something you usually find on those lists!
I'm very intrigued, may have to try this out!

Cool - it's good to hear more about this. I went to a cloth diaper party for a friend of mine who is expecting, and someone got this for her. Many of the ladies went on and on about it. I will try it because I think the Seventh Generation laundry soap we just bought isn't hearty enough to clean thoroughly. Thanks!
