tummy tuck question

Do people who have had tummy tucks have any problems with bloating?  I have a pretty flat stomach except when I am having my period or have overeaten.  However, I know this girl whose stomach is always flat as a pancake -- even after she has overeaten.  It is always flat.  She had a very large breast enhancement several years ago and I am just wondering if she might have gotten a tummy tuck at the same time.  She tries to keep the fact that she has a breast enhancement secret (although it is verrrrrrrrrrrrrry obvious).  However, I think they are great if you want to do that and can afford it, so I don't why she is so secretive.  Anyway,I am just wondering if may she is keeping a tummy tuck secret.  Is there anyway to look at someone and tell if they have had a tummy tuck if you didn't see them prior to it?  I am not about to dare ask herhmm

I've never heard of that. My fiance' has a pretty flat stomach. Even when he overeats he rarely has a huge stomach. I'd put money on good genes or bathroom visits.

hi! my mom had to have major breast reconstruction, (b/c of cancer) & in order to do her surgery, the doctor took a muscle from her stomach (to become and implant), and "tucked" her tummy in the process...
her stomach is always flat, despite being 50+ and never working out...HTH

I'm not trying to be rude, but why does it matter if she has or hasn't had a tummy tuck?

For what it's worth, my stomach doesn't look any different depending on the time of the month or what I've eaten. It's (knock on wood) pretty flat all the time because I work out, eat right most of the time, and have good genes in that area. Maybe this girl's the same. shrug.gif

I know girls who are genetically blessed and always have flat stomachs no matter what, even if they are not in perfect shape otherwise. I don't know any way of knowing whether someone had a tummy tuck other than asking.

Are you honestly considering a tummy tuck? Because to be honest, it really didn't sound like it from your original post. If you are, maybe you should go ask a doctor?
