from the Hungry Girl cookbook

-1 banana
-1 tbsp light cool whip
-1 tbsp strawberry preserves
-1 tbsp hot water
-1 tbsp of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

-just slice the banana long ways, and then in half and put in bowl. seperate bowl mix the tbsp of hot water with a tbsp of strawberry preserves to make a strawberry syrup. pour on bananas. add the tbsp of cool whip. then sprinkle on the choc chips,

Oh that sounds awesome. I bet it does taste good. Hmm I have almost all of the ingredients. Maybe I will pick up what I'm missing and give it a try this weekend.

Yum! I must try that! I've been making my own version that is a little different but very yummy. I use:

1 or 2 tablespoons Hershey's Hot Fudge (warmed)
1 banana, cut up
A handful of sliced almonds
A handful of honey oats cereal or any cereal that has granola in it
A little bit of honey
Fresh fruit if you'd like


It's sweet, crunchy, chocolatel-y, nutty, and ice cream free! I made this last night and had it as a guilt free midnight snack :)
