I've just finished doing the Shred. I actually had to take the day off yesterday. Between Mimi's horrible teething fiasco, my cold and now frequent headaches, I didn't think I would have been able to keep up anyway. I'm feeling a little better today, hopefully the trend continues. Surprisingly, the 5lb. weights don't seem to be killing me at the end of the reps anymore. I'm wondering if it's time to bump up to the 8lb or just wait and see how things play out in level 2, since we're almost there?
Do we want to extend Level 1 a few days, since I think all of us have taken a day of here and there? Or do we just want to continue on ...? I'd be up for either - it's not like doing that same workout a few more times is going to be bad for us, right?
Haven't done it yet today, since I've been taking care of various (long, ridiculous) phone calls all morning that I'd been procrastinating on. Will do it soon, especially since I skipped yesterday in favor of an Anthro/UO pilgrimage and a massive closet cleaning.....

I'm on day 2 today. I plan to do it after I do my normal gym workout. I am a tad sore but not too terrible. I am glad to hear that the weights start feeling better after you make it through a few days of this routine. I did have to throw them on the floor towards the end of some of those exercises so I could keep going.

I had thought about doing this, that way, everyone could be closer to the 10 day on each level. Do you guys want to extend it for 2-3 days?
Do we maybe just want to start a shred thread without specifying days? That way anyone could post which day they're on and how they're doing. I'm just thinking that might make it easier for people who aren't doing it every day or spending longer on levels. Just a thought!
BTW congrats to everyone who's keeping it up, I'm sadly lagging behind!

I think that's a good idea. I know I've taken a couple of days off here and there and I just now finished Day 6.
For the first time tonight I did the side lunge/arm raises all the way through without putting the weights down. I've been using 5lbs weights since Day 1 and wish I'd started with something lighter, but oh well. That was big hurdle for me tonight!!
And I still had energy after the last 3rd cycle that I kept doing the jumping jacks/jumprope/butt kicks/punches for another couple of minutes. Whew!
I just finished day 2. It hasn't gotten much easier but I didn't want to turn the dvd off halfway through so that is progress. I can't get over how much I sweat though. Wow.
I didnt do it yesterday :( busy working and then busy with kids and had company over! I'm going to try and do it today... I'm still going to stick with level 1 though
