I need your help...I have an interview tomorrow (yay!) and I am trying to figure out what to wear. I always wear a pantsuit for interviews and I was planning to do the same for this one but I just received an email with directions to the office where I will be interviewing and it says, "dress is business casual". So now I'm confused. I can't imagine going to an interview in anything other than a suit but the "dress is business casual" comment is making me have second thoughts. Should I not wear the suit? What should I do?
I would wear dress pants, top and then a jacket/blazer that doesn't match the pants, ie not a matching suit. Oh and close top pumps. Good luck!!! What's it for?

Agree with FP: something like - black pants and grey/beige/pinstriped jacket, with something colorful underneath. Or gray pants with black jacket... you got the idea.
I think you could go without the jacket if you wanted, but I don't think you need to freak out over it. You rarely hear "that guy dressed up so nice for his interview, I don't want him to work here"!

I'd wear the suit, but instead of a dressy blouse or button-front shirt, try a top (like a scoopneck knit, print, etc.) that it isn't as conservative. No stockings.
Or non-matching jacket/slacks, or a suit in a more casual fabric like cotton poplin.
