I attempted to go to the Sephora grand opening this morning and it sucked. We (Mimi and I) got there around 8:30 (they open at 10) and there were already a lot of people in line ahead of us. Some lady took a head count and I was number 130! Only the first 100 people were going to get a gift card so needless to say, I wasn't going to stand in line with Mimi for nothing. We went to Babies 'R' Us instead.
Anyway, long story short, I haven't done it yet today. I have no soreness today, woohoo! I'll be back to update later.
Ok guys, day 5 completed and guess what? I believe that the, "fear is beginning to leave my body!" I feel tired at the end but great at the same time. I'm still stuck at doing half modified push-ups, half not, but hey, I'll get there. My war face (and you guys) help me through, you'll see it everyday. LOL!

Just finished, with my newly-purchased 3 lb weights! I think 3 is a good weight - not so heavy that I can't finish the reps, but heavy enough that it makes the last 5 or so reps difficult.
It's getting much easier, so I'm looking forward to Round 2. Wheeeeee! I don't think I've felt results this fast from anything else, ever. I feel great!

I just got the DVD the other day and tried it out for the first time today. I'm not going to be doing it as a 30 day program, but I bought this as a supplement to what I'm already doing at the gym.
Anyway, I really liked the workout. I like the way she does the 3-2-1 and I also like how she combines movements (the lunge with the bicep curl), so it's given me some ideas for my gym workouts. The moves definitely got my heart rate up and I was sweating a bit, but I think I'm going to try the second workout next time.
Oh, and I totally want that other woman's abs! Holy crap!!!
I still haven't got around to doing it yet. Been real busy getting things done to head out to Phoenix tomorrow for a night. I'm hoping I can squeeze it in sometime tonight...though my whole fam bam will be here. I will just have to kick my son out of his room, close the door and put it in his PS2 or PS3, whatever it is he has! I really want to do it cause I wont be able to Sat. or Sund.
Okay, I did it last night so I wont feel quilty over the weekend.
The funny story is that I got my husband to do it with me. He thought I was dumb for handing him 5lbs dumbells, but he was crying when we did the first set of strength training, you know, the sitting down position and raising arms up at same time. It was hilarious! I did way better the 1st day then he did on his!!!! only thing was that I was trying so hard not to laugh that I couldn't work out as great. But still got a great sweat going...
