‘Project Runway’ Finalist Arrested


Now this is called throwing a fit.

‘Project Runway’ finalist Kenley Collins was arrested Tuesday for assault, reports The New York Post.

The catty reality star allegedly attacked her fiance Zak Penley as he slept–by throwing a cat at him. And a laptop. And even some apples. You read that right.

Collins, 26, was charged with assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon.

Her weapons of choice are more creative than some of her trademark fifties-style fashion designs (Collins was accused of being, uh, a copycat during her ‘Runway’ run).

Collins calls her cat-astrophe “a miscommunication.” After being released without bail from a Brooklyn jail, Collins told The Post, “Fights happen, and that’s that. There is no case.”

No reason was given for the altercation, but according to sources, Collins told her man (or soon-to-be-ex?), “You’re lucky, it could have been worse.”

With her grating voice and obnoxious attitude (the claws even came out between her and the benevolent Tim Gunn!), the controversial Collins emerged as the villainess of ‘Project Runway’ Season 5, where she placed as the second runner up.

Its a good thing they broke up!!!!


Does anyone wonder where the "deadly weapon" came into play?  Aren't these harsh charges for throwing apples and household items?  Isn't that the same charge as if you stab someone?
