Any tips or recommendations for activities, hotels, restaurants in Boulder CO?  We may visit there some time between May and July.

A good friend of mine lives there. I'll get some info from him.

We have 'our usual' routine when we go there - I heart.gif Boulder!

We usually stay at the St. Julian - expensive-ish, but right downtown and gorgeous.  On the weekends they have a big party in the lobby w/a bar, live music, and usually a big ice sculpture.

We like The Med for tapas - it's busy so get a reservation.  Lots of yummy small plates to share, and pretty good drinks.

Then to The Rio, a mexican place.  Has a 3 margarita limit, if you even get that far.  I think the food is good; see aformentioned 3 margarita limit.

There's a breakfast place a few blocks away that the locals go to - you have to get there right before they open (it's in an old victorian house, so not tons of seating), and everyone is standing around with their bicycles and their morning papers, chatting.  They have freshly made beignets and really creative menu options.  Can't think of the name of the top of my head ... will be back!  ETA:  Lucille's!

If you're at all into the outdoors, try going for a hike in the Flatirons and have brunch/lunch at the great Chautauqua Dining Hall while you're at it.
