What do you sleep in?
Permalink Closed

Every night it's the same thing... random tee shirt, long flannel pants, and wool Patagonia hiking socks. When it's summer, I just crank up the AC. I honesly sleep in more clothing than I wear during the day. I've got tons of lingerie but I can't actually sleep in any of it so I choose frumpy comfort over sexy style.

Nothing fancy-

Winter-some sort of abercrombie running/sweat pants, a t shirt or a long sleev t.

summer- boxers, tanks or ts

I go w/ comfort over style too. I never do sexy because I live w/ my parents and "sexy" probably isn't what my dad wants to see

Me, too! My roommate actually chastized me for my big superman shirt I wear to bed. (It's about 10 years old now and has all kinds of holes and such.) She said it was too ratty looking and I needed something else. Hee! I have lots of silk pajama sets for when I'm at someone's house or someone's at mine. Those are comfy and cute. Not really too much sleep lingerie. The lingerie I have isn't really made for sleeping...

Baggy tee, p.j. pants in the winter.

Baggy tee and  shorts in the summer.

Very unexciting. I like to be comfortable.

Usually one of my bf's t-shirts and baggy pants or shorts of some kind.  I don't care what I wear to bed, I just want to be comfy.

I love the AE printed tees, they are super soft, I bought a ton a couple years ago when they were on sale, and I wear them to bed all the time. Usually yoga pants on the bottom.

I like nightgowns.  I find them to be the most comfortable for me. I pretty much wear short stretchy cotton chemises all year round.  I break out the light flannel pjs for about a month when it cools down here in Arizona.

Usually capri sweats and a t-shirt.  In the summer, shorts and a cami.  It drives FH crazy - I'm huddled under the covers and he's tossing, saying "Harumph!  It's sooo hot in here!" .

Winter: I have a collection of flannel VS pajamas (they actually fit pretty close instead of being so baggy like most pj's) and a couple from Bedhead.  I probably have 10 different sets so they last me all winter.  I wear a long, pink bathrobe when I am cold with pink slippers - sooo the opposite of sexy.

Summer: I have a lot of A&F pj bottoms I wear (proably 5-6 pairs) with tank tops/tees.  I also have some VS and Target boxers I sleep in with tanks or tees.

ETA: Anybody else strip down naked every night when they sleep?  I do this because my body is like a heating pad at night - you can feel the heat radiating off my body like a heater.  I even turn off the heat at night in the winter(much to SO's dismay), but I still get incredibly hot.  Anyone?

I can't sleep in clothes.  I find it really constricting and uncomfortable.  I sometimes fall asleep with VS pajama bottoms and a tank top on, but I'll take it off during the night without even realizing it.

Puma pants, flannel pjs, cotton pjs, sweats, long underwear. I don't really care what kind, but it has to be pants. I do not like my legs to touch. I also have to be wearing socks or I can't sleep. I slept in my Uggs a couple weeks ago cause I didn't have any clean socks. If someone else is sleeping in my bed they must also be wearing socks - clean ones. I usually wear baggy t-shirts, but I will wear tank tops if they are tight and won't stretch out over night. I'm VERY particular about what I wear to bed.

Ugh yes, I get so so hot when I'm sleeping. Sometimes in the winter I'll wear a tank top with yoga pants to bed and I always wind up ripping the pants off in the middle of the night. So usually I just wear a tank top and my undies to bed. If I have company or am staying with someone I wear a tank top and short shorts. And I cannot sleep with socks on, it drives me insane.

My apartment gets so warm even with the heat off that I've been sleeping with my AC on the fan setting all winter.

Oh and yeah in the summer:

I second this.  The only time I sleep with clothes on is usually when I've had one too many beers... This happend Friday night - I woke at 5 AM under the covers with all my clothes still on... oops!

I'm usually just in my underwear and a beater or tshirt.  This goes for summer and winter (I keep my heat about 77 degrees in the winter-I don't pay for it).  Sometimes I'll throw on PJ pants, but I hate when they bunch up on my legs, so I usually don't.
