on that endometrial biopsy that I was supposed to have done about a month ago. I have been rescheduled 4 times, yes, 4 times! It was supposed to be last Tuesaday and then 2 hours before my appt., I get a call saying that the doctor was ill. I had to reschedule with a different doctor - again. My appointment is set for tomorrow morning. I'll let you all know what happens. Wish me luck, I'm nervous.
Good luck Rosie, you are in my thoughts & prayers. I can imagine the stress of having to wait so long and worry the whole time. When I have something medical going on I just want to know NOW!
I went to the doctor to get the biopsy done. It totally sucked - the doctor was a guy, and a complete asshole. They had me strip from the waist down and then had me sitting there for about 15 minutes while they tried to locate my results from the pap they had done last month. He comes in and introduces himself and tells me that he's going to do an initial exam - ok fine. He then says that he's going to perform the biopsy part. The assistant hands him the speculum and he just shoves it in (no lube, nothing). I kind of cringed and then he tells me in the most asshole tone that he could get, "You know, the more you relax, the quicker this will go." WTF?? Let me shove that speculum up your ass sans lube and see how much you can relax! Ok so then, he proceeds to do the rest of the exam. When he's done, he just continues to sit on the stool in front of me, while glaring at me. He's like, "Ummm that's it." Like I was supposed to know that he was all done. I sit up and he's still sitting there. I was thinking to myself, "umm....I'm not going to get up and get dressed in front of you, WTH?" The assistant was just standing there too. Actually she kind of added to my discomfort. Every other MA has kind of stood off to the side. This chick was standing in front of me like she had front row tickets to the show! I have to go back next week to get the results and to talk about the next course of action for the fibroid that I have as well. At least I get to keep my clothes on this time.No fun I tell you, no fun. At least it's over and done with.

You poor thing! There is NOTHING worse than gyno exams of any kind. I hate going so much I still can't believe I actually have 3 kids. Give yourself credit for getting the biopsy done-in fact, I think you need some retail therapy for going through that!
UGH how horrible! I'm sorry you had to go through that. You'd think he would be more gentle and sensitive in his line of business and considering the situation.
I've had Pap smears similar to what you mentioned, I felt poked and prodded and often they make remarks that make you feel bad. I once had a gyno say "Oh youre bleeding" then waved her two fingers in my face as evidence (sorry for TMI). I wanted to say "bc you just butchered me!"
Praying for good results, let us know how it turns out!
Me too. Ugh, I'm sorry you had to deal with that... how awkward and uncomfortable. Like you said, at least that part is over with. You're in my thoughts-- let us know what happens after you get your results.

OMG! I can't believe how doctors act sometimes.
After I get my results on Tuesday, I'm going to ask to switch doctors and I'm going to tell them because this guy was an ass.
