I saw it on Perez. I am shocked at the "apology" Chris Brown issued. I hope she recovers mentally once she does physically. Having been the victim of domestic violence in the past I know she'll be dealing with this for a long time. I have a lot of speculative thoughts but I'm waiting to see what story comes out.

I hope the music industry doesn't turn on her and make it out like this is somehow her fault. I feel like I'm reading the beginnings of that here and there. It's so sad and there's no excuse for it.

As far as Chris Brown's apology, it was lame, but I think it's the best he can do without incriminating himself. It's pretty obvious his lawyers wrote the statement for him. I'll definitely be boycotting his music, which kinda sucks because I like some of it.

I feel so terrible for Rhianna. I cannot imagine being treated that way by someone who is supposed to love and protect me. That poor, poor girl. There is obviously something wrong with Chris Brown, and I hope he gets the help he needs so that he never, ever does anything like this again.

NCshopper, I see what you're saying about the backlash, but I hope that the release of this picture kind of squashed any speculation. It's horrible that the picture got out, but at the very least, it helps people understand the seriousness of their situation.
