Can anyone recommend an inexpensive but very accurate and reliable bathroom scale?  I'd like one to keep track of whether my diet plan is working or not.  Thanks!

hmm I'm not sure if those exist! I've never found a scale that is accurate.  I've tried everything they tell you to try: step on and off and get 3 different readings.  If all 3 are the same its good, weigh a weight and if it reads out right then its good, etc.  What i do is find a scale and use it consistently to weigh myself during weight loss.  It might not read out what other scales read out but you will be able to calculate how much weight you have lost with the readings.

I think the most accurate ones are the old-fashioned manual scales at the gym.  If you go to a gym, weight yourself once a week there.

i bought my mom a scale for christmas from wal-mart.  it was a digital scale and she says it is right on with the doctors office and the scale at her Curves gym.  I also weigh myself on it when I go home to visit and it is usually on for what i "think" i weigh at the time.
