iTunes Question

Obviously I have no problem putting songs that I purchased on iTunes into my iPod.  BUT, sometimes I cannot burn the songs to CD.  I can always burn the songs to CD, but the CD doesn't work everytime.  Am I doing something weird?   HELP

Make sure you are burning to a CDR rather than a CDRW. Some players can't read the CDRWs. It's that, or, your player can't read the media format of your music (mp3, aac, m4a, etc.). Files that will play on your computer aren't always recognized by the player in your car or home stereo.

Does that help give you a lead?

Thanks roxy - I think you are right about some stereos don't always play the same format files b/c I tried the CDs that didn't work in my car and they did work in my home stereo.
