I thought last night's show was terrific, one of the best this season. The part right at the beginning where Ryan and Seth were discussing last year was brilliant. I love how they mentioned all the things that people have been critcising about the show but in context of their lives. It was a great episode.


And I'm really glad that Alex is gone. I thought that whole story was getting really boring.


I love Summer's lacy shrug/cropped sweater when they were at school. Very cute. Does anyone know who it was by?


Next weeks episode...was I the only one who didn't know Ryan had a brother? And shouldn't Theresa be having the baby soon?

Granted I didn't watch last night cuz I had class, but based on what I do know (and I watched most of last season), Ryan's brother was the reason he got arrested in the very first episode of last season.  He's a roughneck troublemaker type, older I believe.  And didn't Theresa have an abortion?  I thought she ran off & did it w/o Ryan knowing & told him she miscarried or something... I could be way off there, but as far as I know she's no longer pregnant.  HTH!

it's so funny--i thought last night's was the very worst episode ever.  it was so boring!  i am also sad to see alex out of the picture, because that was the one storyline i was interested in.  i guess every viewer is different.

i thought last night's episode totally sucked too. seth is so much better when he's tormented by something. the ryan/marissa thing is annoying. and the way marissa dumped alex was laughable. plus... omg... the new editor of the magazine sitting in his place drinking tequila, wearing a husker du t-shirt, and blasting the pixies?! that was so ridiculous! the whole magazine plotline is really annoying me. why would this guy take this job? it's just going to be like an airline magazine, only with no circulation.


i'm excited about ryan's brother coming back, but i have a feeling it's going to be just like when his mom visited. WHAT'S HAPPENED TO THIS SHOW?! ugh.

wasn't theresa lying about the abortion? i thought she told that just to get ryan to not be involved anymore (for his sake). i wonder if they'll bring her back soon...

mizzle!  hee! i was watching it with a boy and as that scene was unfolding we were like, pixies.  huh.  husker du.  huh.  really? and then started laughing.  somehow all of the adults were trapped in some sort of time-warp glory days kind of thing.  julie cooper-nichol, too with the earrings she was wearing throughout the episode--the giant hoops with crystal-y things dangling at the bottom? i used to wear those in junior high.

I was completely unimpressed by last night's episode.  Every story line they have going is completely boring right now.


I was happy to see the Marissa/Alex storyline come to an end, it was starting to seem unrealistic.  Fine if they want to make out a bit and date, but living together...c'mon!  I actually hope that they keep the Alex character 'cause I think she's interesting.  She's a rocker like me!


I really don't want the whole Theresa fiasco to come back into play.  As I remember it, she didn't get an abortion, but she did tell Ryan that she had lost the baby.  I remember thinking at the time that Ryan would eventually hear thru the grape vine if she had a baby.  I bet it'll won't come up any time soon, isn't the actress on another show now.  Numbers, maybe?  Or "Numb3rs" as the add says.  HA HA.  Or maybe she did have an abortion and it went right over my head.


Either way, I really liked Summer's outfit too.  I swear the best part of the show this season has been the clothes.
