I'm so relieved to find out I passed my biology class... barely! The bad news is I waited too long to register for the next biology class and now they are all full. Has this ever happened to anyone? I'm just hoping I can get sqeezed into one of them. Also more bad news. I heard my state governor cut school funding and I don't know how this is going to affect me, but one of the school's ideas included turning the thermostats down to around 60 degrees in the winter and around 80 degrees in the summer.
What people do at my school Cahabo is just start going to one of the classes they need, even if it's full. Talk to the teacher on the first day and let them know what's up - usually they'll sign you in to the class because there's always people who drop out and that will open up room for you. Definitely sign up for the waiting list if they have one too, just in case.

Most classes will have a number of people drop out in the first two weeks. I think my undergrad called it the withdrawal period. I don't know where you go to school, but if it's a larger school and it's a bio class, than I'm going to assume that it's a really large class which means the drop-out number will be higher. Just go to registration and get added onto the wait-list. Email the professor and tell them you want to join the class. Go to the class and hope for the best.
I've done that with plenty of classes in my undergrad and never had a problem getting in.

I agree with the other girls, you can either talk to the professor the first day of class or before if you have their email or you can wait til drop/add period. Many people sign up for extra classes and drop them during this period.
yeah, from what I remember the professor could usually get another few people in if you talk to them beforehand and then show up for the first few classes.
