I love that show but I always forget to watch it! I'm weird about the way she dresses, sometimes she looks cute but other times I think she could use to be on the show in the other position.

She does have cute shoes though.

Yes, I agree that Stacy London sometimes deserves to be on the recieving end of the show. She is also annoyingly haughty considering she does NOT have excellent taste. Also, I don't really like the example outfits they pick, they are actually ugly sometimes. I stopped watching the show because they do not know what they are talking about. People only do the show for the money.

I like the british version best, but I the one with Stacy is fun too. I think sometimes the outfits are a little too generic, but it's probably because they're trying not to shock the people too much with high-concept outfits. I think the haircuts always suck, though.

I really like the show. I love Stacy's look and I like how she looks her age, she doesn't try to hide the grey streak in her hair. And she always has the best shoes. I really like Clinton too, but sometimes he wears too much pink. My brother's friend met them on a street in New Orleans and said they are both sweethearts.

What ever happend to the guy they had in the first season? Wayne something? Clinton is a much better replacement, he was awful. He had long, gross grey hair and didn't look like he should have been telling anyone what to wear.

What are your favorite episodes? I really liked the one with Misti, the rockabilly girl. And the one with Nick Aroja's salon manager.

I don't like the British one. I think Trinny and Suzanne are horrible and are not very well dressed. JMO. When they were on Oprah and they were holding up that womans breasts in the middle of the store (to demonstrate that she needed a better bra), I would have been throwing punches.

I agree with that. I love how she dresses and that she doesn't try to pretend like she is 25.

The other guys name is Wayne Scot Lukas. I don't know what happend to him, but I am glad he is gone. He drove me insane. He never looked like he has a clue about fashion.

I love the British version too, but for some reason I am not able to get BBC American and I am really pissed about it. I need to call and figure out what is going on. I miss WNTW and The Office.

oh, i love trinny and susannah, but i can never seem to catch the show any more (does anyone know when it is on? i guess i could check the bbc listings online too). i catch the TLC version when i can and my husband and i have a good laugh over it all. i have really started liking stacy more and more lately (i might even have a crush on her becuase i think she has a great personality). oh i LOVE clinton.

wayne was... well... i'm glad he's gone.

I LOVE Stacy's style. I think her being haughty is just part her act for the show. Sometimes she is matchy-matchy but I think it is a good matchy-matchy. She always looks so sleek and put together. i have also noticed that she wears very few accessories, and just lets her clothes do the talking. I have thought about taking this approach because it would sure save alot of money that I could spend on other stuff . I actually love most of the outfits they put together on the mannequins. There does seem to be a formula for alot of the outfits, but I think what they are trying to do is just give the fashion-challenged person on the show an idea of what direction to take.

I go back and forth on the show. I usually think that outfits Stacy and Clinton pick are a little bit bland, however I appreciate that, bland or not, most of the people look a million times better when they leave.

I liked Trinny and Susannah on Oprah. I didn't love the outfits, but I loved their comment about sweats being "a virus sweeping America."

I love the show--Hotcocoa, I have a crush on Stacy too! She seems so self-assured and that makes her more beautiful. It doesn't bother me that some of the outfits are bland, because they always turn out being much more flattering to the person's body. I would rather people think "wow, she looks great" than "wow, she's wearing a great outfit." But I wish they would help Carmindy. Sometimes she wears the most unflattering clothes. . .

god, i love this show. stacey and clinton are FABULOUS, carmindy and the hair guy not so much. i have to admit the makeup usually really helps, but carmindy annoys me. the hair almost always looks dreadful.

confession: i have a little crush on clinton and for a while i convinced myself that he was straight. ahhh, denial. he is just so cute, i wanna pinch his cheeks!

I like this show, too, although it's a bit boring sometimes. I can't stay interested watching someone shop in stores and pick out god-awful clothing. I like the part where Stacy and Clinton help the person shop and she tries on all the different outfits. The whole show should be like that.

I wish Stacy would put a little more funk in her outfits or go for a classier look. She's sometimes too in between for my taste. But she looks good, generally speaking.

And agreed that the hair guy is AWFUL! Those people are a blank canvas when it comes to hair and they go out of there looking like they went into the salon for a trim and a root touch-up. It's a makeover show for goodness sake! Give them something different and flattering, at the very least.

Even though I find myself watching this show every Friday night, I have issues with it. First, Stacy acts like if she doesn't approve of an outfit, then it is not acceptable. For instance, on Friday night they made over a lady that wore really bright colors. One of her outfits they criticized was a lt lime green shirt with a darker lime green cardigan over it. She had on blue jeans and shoes with lime green in them. Now, it was not my favorite outfit either, but just last season, they put an outfit on one of their mannequins that was virtually identical to this lady's outfit except they used lt turquoise and dark turquoise and said it was a good choice for the person they were making over. I don't get it!! On this same episode Friday night, they were in Ann Taylor and there was a coat they made the lady try on. The lady did not like it, and Stacy was just amazed that she didn't. The coat did nothing for the lady. It was shapeless.

Also, Nick is always cutting off these makeoverees hair and making it short, yet there stands Carmindy with her thin, shapeless hair and Stacy with her long hair. So hypocritical!! However, Carmindy's makeup is AWESOME!!

I have watched WNTW for about 2 years and they contradict themselves. Clinton complains all the time about "clunky" shoes, but I saw Stacy just a few episodes ago wearing a pair of wedges. By the way, I loved the wedges she had on--the were to die for. Anyway, that is my rant and I know it is just a show and won't matter a hill of beans in 100 years, but I feel better.

Nick Arrojo makes me mad because he always wants to cut hair short. I can understand cutting off damaged hair, but once I saw him cut one girls long curly hair...for no reason other than she had the same style for so long. It was sad, and she ended up looking older with the shorter hair.

I like Stacy London a lot. Her clothes look great on her and her hair always looks pretty and shiny. Clinton is cool, I do think he gives good advice, I would like to see a little more sport casual to his attire however.

On an episode of Ambush Makeover, a hostess (whose hair was long, of course) tried to persuade a woman to be made over and commented on her hair, which she had "a lot of". The woman replied by snorting "Cut your own hair!" and walked away. I thought that was hilarious!

I like WNTW alot, but they can be really confusing. For instance, last week they dressed a lady in an outfit with a neutral colored jacket and pants and a brightly colored shirt. But they said to not go out and buy shoes to match the shirt. Then just last night, they put together an outfit that had orange shoes matching the orange necklace (I think it was orange -it was a bright color) The rest of the outfit had lime green. Go figure!! Anyway, I LOVE the way Stacy dresses, but I don't get too hung up on their rules because they are always changing them.
