I purchased a table from Home Decorators back in September that had an expected delivery date of 10/3. I figured a few weeks would be okay to wait, however it never showed up. I contacted CS Monday and they sent an e-mail saying the new delivery date is 11/6. I'm not happy about that, but thought I can live with that. I get another e-mail today saying that the vendor expects to ship 1/9/09 istead!!! I don't want to wait until next year for a piece of furniture and on top of that, I saw that they took away the discount I used and charged me more money (I wasn't informed about this). Their website states that once an order has been processed, you can't cancel it, but I don't want this if it's going to come almost 4 months after I expected. Am I screwed out of this deal?? I could be using that money to buy something else!!! Help!!
I would think that the fact that the delivery date has changed twice would make your contract null and void. Call them to find out and try to stay positive about it!! Good luck!!

I would call and explain that you can't use the item if it's going to arrive three months too late. I've ordered a few things from them and not had bad experience with CS. The one time I returned something they were so apologetic and now I get a letter from them with a new discount code every three months...
Usually retailers don't bill you until an item actually is shipping, so it seems odd that they would have charged you for this already.
