Have any of you used creatine or known any WOMEN that have? I feel like I need an extra boost in my workout, but have never used anything like this before and I'm scared as to what it may do. Any stories, advice?

I think it's a bad idea. The reason people use it is to to build size/bulk and to help if they're in a sport that requires short bursts of energy. I doubt those are things that you're worried about ...? My husband took it for awhile a few years ago, and he had trouble keeping his blood sugar stable and had the rankest gas while he was on it, unfortunately for me. Depending what your goals are, I'd suggest tweaking your diet, adding a multivitamin if you aren't already taking one, and trying some new workouts/sports to shake up your routine a bit. I doubt this sort of supplement is going to do what you're looking for ...
