my SO got me a heart shaped box of see's caramel filled chocolates for vday.  it's a mix of dark choc., milk choc (w/ nuts), and dark & milk choc. patties.  The dark chocolate ones are the best!!  i couldn't resist them!

for christmas and my birthday my BF gets me a box of Godiva chocalate caramels.  they are all different types, like caramel with pecans or caramels with dark chocolate or caramel with rasberry creme... plus reg. chocolate caramels... and i ADORE them...

My BF and I are going to have a Godiva vs. Sees chocolate caramels battle. We bought each other the respective 1 lb. nuts and caramels boxes from both companies for v-day. Through the course of our relationship, he's demonstrated a hatred of Godiva that I wish to brush away once and for all. He's a Sees freak. But I'm convinced Godiva is better...but we'll see.


I like Ghiradelli too, though.

Lilykind, you are so right. Except See's makes the most AMAZING eggs at Easter. They're chocolate and bigger than your fist and they come in a yellow box. Yummmm.

may not be the BEST but certainly the cheapest and easiest....Hershey now makes kisses w/caramel inside! what took so long?

i'm partial to a caramelo bar. it's classic and simple and perfectly gooey. altho i am also a sucker for the stiffer, more hard caramel...but..as with anything, it depends on my mood

I got some Godiva chocolates for Valentine's Day and there were a couple of caramel filled chocolates and they were soooooooooo good!!

I found the Sees caramel chocolates to be less gooey, more of a harder consistency. Which some people prefer and of course that's totally cool.


The Godiva ones are very much like a thick syrup and to me that's the best that money can buy.
