So whos been watching Gossip Girl?  I think the first couple episodes were good, but last nights was just kind of meh.  I feel like they kept having Serena and Dan do the exact same thing over and over throughout the whole episode.

1.  People are mean to Dan & Amanda.

2.  Serena apologizes and says she has nothing to do with it.

3.  Dan accepts and they make up.

Repeat, repeat, repeat. 

And the end when they made it so dramatic that Serena had gotten everyone in the whole school to shun Dan was kind of too much because just the day before she was crying and telling him it was hard to stop loving him, now all of a sudden she is all cold?  I dont know, I just dont like the role reversal.  I like nice Serena and bitchy Blair. 

Also, I dont understand why Chuck told Blair that he was the one who got Serena back to Queen B if he is trying to get her back??  Now that she isnt with Marcus anymore shouldnt he be trying to get on her good side?  

I was upset that Nate was only in this episode for like 5 minutes.  The whole thing with him and Vanessa was kind of weak.  Who cares that she didnt tell him about the Duchess first, she was trying to protect him and get him away from her and he didnt care.  He should be happy he doesnt have to be with Duchess anymore, Im getting kind of sick of his wining, hes too hot to be so sad all the time!!

I agree, I like nice Serena. I also did not understand the whole chuck trying to get serena back to being Queen B. Maybe so Blair will turn to him? I don't understand why nate was mad at Vanessa, he needs to just get over it.

I don't know, I actually liked this episode more than the previous week.  I kind of like seeing Serena mean - we get to see the side of her that they kept hinting about in the first season, but never saw.  I didn't like her being all needy and nice all the time.  I think it will be fun to see the power struggle for Queen between her and Blair.  I'm not sure what Chuck's motives were - either he's jsut trying to hurt Blair since he can't have her, or it's all in his scheme to win her back.

As for Nate and Vanessa - I never really liked that pairing, so I am glad they seemed to end that.  Call me crazy - but I'm hoping he hooks up with little Jenny.  They had some definite chemistry last season IMO.
