Need to bring something to a wine tasting
Permalink Closed

I'm going to a friends house for a wine tasting on Saturday and told her I would bring something. I cannot cook, like I burn soup. What can I bring that is easy to make and easy to eat as we all sort of just munch as we taste the wine. It's a v casual thing so no need to be fancy.

Can't do cheese plate either, already thought of that but someone else in bringing one. bastards.

what about antipasti? you can just buy everything at your grocery store (meat, cheese, and olives) and then assemble on a plate? maybe just do parmigiano-regg b/c there will be other cheeses there?

I second the fruit/veggie suggestion, maybe with some good crusty bread?

Oh sounds good. I think that would be a great idea with the William Sonoma olive oils. Yumm.

Along the same lines...bread, olive oil w/ rosemary, kalamata olive tapenade and chevre.

Or if there are going to be dessert wines also, maybe some nice chocolate.
