I just need to vent. I work with a woman who seems to make it her number 1 goal to be difficult to work with. I am an editor, and she consistently sends me documents that are half-finished, that have been assembled through cut and paste from other documents for other clients, and that haven't even been read over -- so half of the information completely doesn't apply and somtimes is totally contradictory. And THEN, she always disagrees with my edits and wants me to include totally crappy sentences of irrelevant information. And on top of it all, she seems to be incapable of using any of the correct correspondence or report templates provided - so I have to go through and reformat all of her documents. Grrrrr.

Whew. Sorry for the ranting...

Wow sorry you have to put up with her, aren't you her boss? Shouldn't she be more respectful? Does this woman have like a lot of clout?

Unfortunately, she is a VP.   I have to edit all of her proposals and stuff.

That sucks!  If it were me, the next time she gives you a half-written anything I would return it to her with a note saying "Whoops!  This isn't finished - you must have given it to my by mistake" .  Or next time she gives you something that is really bad, take forever to fix it.  If she asks about it, let her know that it needed alot of work and is therefore going to take you a little longer to getback to her!
