laundry detergent for darks

As usual, I'm obsessed with how I wash my clothes.


Has anyone tried those new laundry detergents that are supposed to be specially designed for dark clothes?  I've seen them popping up at Target and I wonder if they actually help clothes stay dark longer.

my husband does the laundry but he brought this home the other night---i will let you know how it works
