Traveling alone for the first time
Permalink Closed

I just booked a flight to San Francisco. This is my first time flying solo and planning a trip on my own.

I have a friend meeting me at the airport when I arrive, but I'm a little apprehensive about switching flights and all the connections. Fortunately I'm flying into smaller airports; Houston and Cleveland.

Any words of advice for traveling solo?

TIA!

oo how fun!  I remember how exhilirating my first trip alone was- to France in college.  you'll figure everything out- it's easy as long as you have enough time between flights.

I agree with Lynnie - as long as you have plenty of time for your connections it's totally fine.  Print a couple copies of your itineraries to bring with you and try to figure out how far you'll have to go to switch flights so you know ahead of time if you'll have to hurry or not.

Have fun!
