anyone watch? a lot of the guys seem so needy and stalkerish. stu especially, but at least she got rid of them.


preface -- this is my random rant, so feel free to not read and/or disregard


while i'm liking this season so far, i'm so sick to death of the tokenism on this show. it annoys me that there's always one minority who'll get picked the first round and cut the second round.  b/c it's so obvious that they're just there so no one will accuse abc of being racist. whatever. as a minority i understand that not everyone is into inter-racial dating and i'm fine with that. but abc don't make some sort of 1/2 ass attempt to placate me b/c you feel a "need" to.

I feel sorry for Jen. I haven't seen that much cheese since my last trip to Wisconsin.


ETA: I totally agree with you, Honey. The "token" never makes it past the 2nd round. Note how they include the clip of Jen saying she's "absolutely open" to dating outside her race.

Honey that is the first thing i said to about the whole tokenism thing. Other than that I think these guys are so cheezy. There were a couple of them who seem alright, but i am going to have to keep watching. I still get all the guys confused. I am just glad she kicked off stu the stalker and the guy who was the teacher who had a goofy face, i wouldn't be able to handle that. Also what is up with I think his name is Josh's hair? He looks like he is plastic.

Jen's got a lot of weirdos this season.  I thought Stu was the creepiest but the guy who wanted her to sign and kiss his ticket was the biggest freak.  That Josh guy looks like he wants to be a Backstreet Boy.  I don't know about these guys.  They really need to get narrowed down.

i'll be looking for that kissed & signed ticket on ebay... and as for josh, i think he's lame & not cute, i wish fabreeze (haha, i know sp) hadn't backed down about saying he wouldn't get a rose but now it kinda sux they both got picked & have to face eachother even longer.  jen just seems too normal to be on a show like this, she's so nervous like a normal person would be & i feel like there is no way for her to meet the right person in this situation.  that said, i've never watched the show b4 so i have no clue how she was her first time around.

My husband told me last night that he had heard on the radio some news that Fabrice is actually a gay actor?  I need to do some online researching to see where that comes from!


I couldn't believe how so many of these guys were so desperate.  I am glad she got rid of some of them last night, now I am interested in seeing how competitive the guys will get.

Yeah, I thought a lot of guys eliminated themselves last night.  What a bunch of weirdos!  What about Josh's ''You cannot even begin to understand the depths of me!'' comment? Not cool, buddy, not cool.  The one guy I thought was normal - Michael - decides to inform Jen that he likes to spoon his dog every night?  What? Don't tell her that on the first date!!!  I would love to see this season end with Jen choosing no one. Not that I don't want her to find the man of her dreams -I just don't see him being in this group right now.

I was so sad that she cut Michael!  He seems like such a nice guy.  Seriously, don't kid yourselves dog lovers...I have walked in while my bf was taking a nap on the couch at his parents house with their dog and found them spooning a bunch of times.  I think it is adorable! 


Anyway, my little sister in my sorority just informed me that he teaches and coaches at the same school as her dad.  He is apparently an amazing guy and she said that he is smokin' in person.  I think she missed out with him.


The only two that are left that I like are Jerry (sexy man, yowza!) and Wendall. Ben seems nice, but he is a ski instructor and she said that she doesn't want to change her life for a guy again.

Jen definitely seems a little freaked out by the guys-- and I don't blame her. What a bunch of weirdos! Jerry is hot but I think he's just trying to get his 15 minutes. I would love to see her pick NONE of them!

what was up with the guy who asked for her autograph?  Might as well just ask her to kick him off the show....I can't imagine her with any of the men so far but maybe I'll change my mind if I see a better connection in the next episodes.
