In the pictures above - I love Teri Hatcher's gown!! Cate Blanchette looks stunning.  I do love Claire Dane's dress - but for some reason it looks not so flattering on her. It makes her whole front side really flat. Agree - Paula Abdul - Yikes!!

I think all of them look boring/horrible especially Paula Abdul. She probably picked it up from the Juniors Dept.


I really like Portia Di Rossi and the wife of Charlie Sheen (I'm blanking out on her name). She looks beautiful. And I like that one Asian chick near Renee Zellweger. I don't know her name at all. Natalie Portman looks decent but nothing special.

i have to say, i was feeling v. fashion-forward last night when i saw nic in this lovely ensemble -



because it is exactly the color/look for my wedding! the bridesmaids are wearing this exact color and there will be peacock feathers in their bouquets. seeing it in person made me so excited after trying to visualize it in my head for months. :) and she was definitely one of the best dressed there last night.

I love Jennifer Garner forever, and I don't think this dress is awful, but I just don't think it's right for her.  She's so gorgeous, she needs someone to dress her right!

Really don't like this! She looks really wide from the front, and it seems like she is trying too hard to look like SJP. It just bothers me a lot. It might also be because I really don't think Desperate Housewives should be at the Golden Globes.

Amelie, I totally agree with you. She should have worn a longer dress. SJP uses her height to go for shorter dresses and it works.

Also can't find a pix but I liked glenn close's gown and want my mom to wear something similar for her mother of the bride gown.
