Mac doesn't show anywhere near true colors so I wouldn't check the website.

I really like Chanel palettes of four, but hate their singles (too soft). For singles, I prefer Lancome.

I have a lot of different colors, but don't remember exact names.

I'm an eyeshadow junkie, but these are my old stand bys at the moment.

My all time favorite eye shadow is Shu Uemura ME 945 for smokey eyes. It's a little brown, a little silver, a little black, a little purple... all at the same time.

I also like from Nars Odine (picture is not on Sephora website). Great brown with gold flecks. This palette is really good for everyday boring makeup.

I also like from Chanel a cream eyeshadow called Rivera (I usually wear this for day looks).

I also really like to play up colors when I have the liberty to be wilder with my makeup. For work/evening looks I will usually do a plum color mixing it with one of the colors above or a dark green color. I have this great dark green from Trish McEvoy that has gold flecs in it. I love to use this as an eyeliner.

BTW my eyes are dark brown as well.

I have dark brown hair with some subtle carmel hightlights, my eyes are dark hazel and my skin is a medium olive complexion. I am not sure of the rest of your coloring complexion but what posted earlier in the thread are colors that work well for me.
